His Grace Alexios Mar Eusebius led Vaadhe Dalmeeno Service at St. Thomas Cathedral Houston

"Vaadhe Dalmeeno" service is about the parable of the 10 virgins. This is a very rare service that hasn't been done all that often in the past, but recently many bishops have re-introduced this tradition. Everyone walks to the front of the church holding candles and the gospel of the parable of the 10 virgins is read with the doors shut. At the end of the gospel the celebrate knocks on the doors 3 times, then opens the doors and the congregation follows the celebrate into the church.
