Pastoral Changes in the Diocese of South-West America
The following are 2014 Diocesan pastoral appointments and changes. All Changes will be effective July 01, 2014.
- Rev. Fr. Dr. C.O. Vargis is retiring and is relieved as the Vicar of Houston St. Stephen's
- Rev. Fr. Jake Kurian is relieved as Assistant Vicar of Houston St. Stephen's and appointed Vicar of Houston St. Stephen's.
- Rev. Fr. Dr. Ninan V. George is returning to India and is relieved as the Vicar of Elmhurst St. Gregorios (Chicago).
- Rev. Fr. Mathews George (Sajeev) is relieved as the Vicar of San Antonio St. George and is appointed Vicar of Elmhurst St. Gregorios (Chicago).
- Rev. Fr. John Abraham (Teji) is relieved as the Vicar of St. James Mission Parish, Dallas, and is appointed Assistant Vicar of Elmhurst St. Gregorios (Chicago).
- Rev. Fr. Christopher Mathew is relieved as the Youth Minister of the Chicago Area and is appointed Vicar of St. James Mission Church, Dallas.
- Rev. Fr. Abraham (Abi) Chacko is given temporary charge as Youth Minister of the Chicago Area.
- Rev. Fr. Sunoj Oommen is relieved as the Vicar of Detroit St. Gregorios and is appointed Vicar of San Antonio St. George.
- Rev. Fr. P.M. Cheriyan is relieved as the Vicar of Houston St. Gregorios and is appointed Vicar of Houston St.Mary’s.
- Rev. Fr. Joshua George (Binoy) is relieved as the Vicar of Houston St. Mary's and is appointed Vicar of Dallas St. Mary’s (Carrollton).
- Rev. Fr. John Kunnathusseril is relieved as the Vicar of Carrollton St. Mary's and is appointed Vicar of Dallas St. Thomas.
- Rev .Fr. Rajesh K. John is relieved as the Vicar of Dallas St. Thomas and is appointed Vicar of Houston St.Gregorios.
- Rev. Fr. Dr. Paul T. Varghese is appointed Vicar of Vancouver St. George.
- Rev. Fr. P.C. George is relieved as the Vicar of Vancouver St. George and is appointed Vicar of Detroit St. Gregorios.
