Divyabhodhanam - GOCE (Graduate in Orthodox Christian Education ) :Graduation On May 5th 2024

In 2005, under the leadership of Fr (Dr) M K Thomas and Fr (Dr) George Pullikoottil (now HG Mar Yulios) we started the DB course level 1 (POCE) with 33 registered students.  21 students successfully completed the POCE(Proficiency) course in 2011. DB level 2 DOCE (Diploma) classes commenced in 2012. Thirteen of us were honored with the Diploma certificate in 2015. We started the graduate level ( GOCE) classes in Feb 2016. After completing the study of the 10  books, 7 of us successfully submitted the thesis for the GOCE course. We appreciate all the clergy from 2005 onwards who served at Oak Park parish (now Elmhurst) for teaching us and assisting us with our studies. We fondly remember our Diocesan bishops, Seminary professors & other priests who enlightened us by taking classes for us. Glory to Almighty God! The original convocation was done at Kottayam Orthodox Theological Seminary under the leadership of HH the Catholicos in February, 2024. A simple graduation convocation is being organized at our Church on Sunday May 5 under the leadership of HG Dr Geevarghese Mar Yuolios after Holy Qurbana and Refreshments. We solicit your prayerful presence and request all those who can stay back for the convocation ceremony to return to the sanctuary and be part of the graduation process.  We are also happy to inform you that we are the first  batch graduating DB GOCE from both American diocese.All glory and praise to God Almighty .
