This committee consists of a small body of elected officials from each Diocese (two priests and four lay people) to look into the financial and other administrative matters concerning the Malankara Orthodox Church.
Other than the elected members, a proportionate number of members are nominated to the Managing Committee by the Malankara Metropolitan. The meetings take place in Kerala, India.

The Diocese of South-West America was established on April 1, 2009, by Order No. 145/2009, issued by His Holiness Baselios Mar Thoma Didymos I, then Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan, on the Apostolic Throne of St. Thomas.
