Former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy passes away

The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church lost one of her faithful children today, Sri Oommen Chandy who served as the former Chief minister of Kerala, India.

He was a man who spent his entire life serving the public with his kindness and simplicity. Sri Oommen Chandy was a devout member of the St. George Orthodox Church, Puthupally, who lived a life that kept God and his faith as the foundation of his ministry no matter where he was.
