The Mar Makarios Scholarship Award, instituted by our Diocese in 2023 in memory of the late H.G. Dr. Thomas Mar Makarios of blessed memory, will be awarded again this year. This year also marks the centennial birth anniversary of Thirumeni, born on May 25, 1926.
The scholarship recognizes undergraduate students from our Diocese who completed their Bachelor’s degree during the 2024–2025 academic year, showing academic excellence and commitment to the Church and community. One top graduate from each of the four diocesan regions will be selected.
Eligible graduates are encouraged to apply using the application form and required documents attached, or available on the Diocesan website. Completed applications must be submitted by February 1, 2026.
