The Diocese of South-West America is proud to announce the election of Mr. Ken Mathew as the Mayor of the City of Stafford in Texas. As Mayor Elect, he will be sworn into office in a ceremony set to be held on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, at 5:00 PM at Stafford City Hall.

Mr. Ken Mathew has been an active member of St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Cathedral, Stafford and served both the parish and the Indian community at large in various capacities over the past several decades. He has served as a council member for the City of Stafford and a member of other city boards and commissions over the years.

The Diocesan Metropolitan along with the Diocesan Council, clergy and faithful of the Diocese of South-West America, extends our prayerful congratulations and wishes to Mayor Elect, Mr. Ken Mathew, as he prepares to be sworn into office as City Mayor. May our Lord God be with him and guide him to discharge the responsibilities entrusted to him.
