Newly constructed St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Seattle to be consecrated.
The consecration of the newly constructed St. Thomas Orthodox Church will be held on May 6th and 7th, 2011.The Chief Celebrant will be His Grace Alexios Mar Eusebius, Metropolitan of the Diocese of South-West America. This is the first Church for the Diocese in the Greater Seattle Area.
Rev. Fr. T.U. Jacob serves as the Vicar. Members of the clergy and laity from various parts of the country and Canada are expected to attend the service.
The Consecration of the Church will be done in two parts. The first part will follow evening prayers at 6PM on Friday, May 6th. The second part will start at 7AM on Saturday, May 7th and will be followed by the Holy Qurbana. The Consecration shall conclude with a luncheon reception.
The Vicar and members of the Church requests the presence and prayers of all the faithful.
