St. Mary’s Church, Farmers Branch, Dallas will be consecrated May 13,14 and 15

Dallas : The newly constructed St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Farmers Branch, Dallas, Texas will be consecrated on 13,14 and 15, 2011.His Holiness Baselios Marthoma Paulose II, 91st Catholicos the East in the apostolic throne of St. Thomas and 21st Malankara Metropolitan of the church will lead consecration service .

St. Mary’s Malankara Orthodox Church of Dallas was established in 1973. St. Mary’s Church stands conveniently located close to I-635 & I-35E in Farmers Branch, TX on approximately four acres of land. This energetically growing parish is one of the largest parishes in the Southwest Diocese of America. One hundred and twenty faithful families are currently worshipping in this parish.

The Diocesan Secretary for South West America, Fr. Thampan Varghese, is serving the parish as vicar. Prince Zachariah and Roy Thomas are Trustee and Secretary for the current year.
