St Thomas Orthodox Church Bangalore donated land to build Diocesan center

The General body  of St Thomas Orthodox Church, Bangalore East unanimously decided to donate  an area of 22000 Sq. ft. land  along with  a 4400 Sq. ft building and a chapel of about 1500 Sq. ft.  belongs to the parish to His Grace Dr. Abraham Mar Seraphim, Metropolitan of the Diocese of Bangalore to build and operate as the diocesan center.
The Cost of land, building and chapel is around Rs.2.25 core. The land is in  the city limit of Bangalore and is in considered as the top growing area. On September 16th 2010, Diocesan Assembly accepted the  gift and Vicar  Rev Fr Mani K Varghese, St Thomas Orthodox Church, Bangalore East  handed over the documents to His Grace Abraham Mar Seraphim.
